🪙 How High Will Ethereum Get This Year?

What has Ethereum eaten that has fueled its surge this July? We need some of that stuff.

ETH has been on a tear, crossing $3,800 today. This marks its highest level since December 2024.

Naturally, prediction traders are active on Ethereum markets today. Kalshi traders are extremely bullish of ETH’s chances of breaking past the $4K barrier. They’re also giving it a 53% chance of hitting $5K this year.

Talk about an A++ day for Ethereum.

To reflect the similar sentiment, Manifold traders are giving ETH an 84% chance of hitting $4K in 2025.

🔎 Current Ethereum Snapshot

As of July 21, 2025, Ethereum (ETH) is trading around $3.7K. This impressive run is part of a nine-day winning streak, with ETH gaining over 26% in the last week and more than 50% in July alone.

Massive institutional inflows are also driving this rally. BlackRock’s ETHA recorded $489 million in inflows on July 16, contributing to over $2.18 billion in inflows for ETH ETFs in just one week.

Whale buying has also pushed ETH to around $3,800-$3,750, which is a crucial technical zone that some analysts believe will break into new highs.

Models from Fundstrat’s Mark Newton and Tom Lee suggest mid-term targets in the $4,000-$15,000 range by December.

Propelled by unprecedented ETF inflows, Ethereum is currently enjoying a bullish phase. A breakout above $4K seems likely, setting the stage for potential reaches of up to $15K by year-end. 👀

💰 What Price Will Bitcoin Hit in July?

The crypto space is talking volumes, and we’re just at the start of the week.

After news broke out of Ethereum hitting $3.8K, Bitcoin said “Hold my beer” and went to work. Trump Media reportedly bought $2 billion worth of Bitcoin for its crypto treasury.

As such, prediction traders are taking a bullish stance on BTC’s price this month. On Polymarket, they’re giving Bitcoin a 45% chance to hit $125K.

Interestingly, Kalshi traders are mirroring the exact sentiment.

And most interestingly, Manifold traders are reflecting the same exact 45% probability of BTC reaching $125K this July.

Talk about people being one and united on a prediction market. This doesn’t happen much too often.

🔎 Current Bitcoin Snapshot

A significant piece of news influencing Bitcoin’s market sentiment is the announcement from Trump Media Technology Group. The company confirmed it has accumulated approximately $2 billion in Bitcoin and Bitcoin-related securities as part of its treasury strategy.

That’s roughly two-thirds of its $3B liquid assets.

This move by a high-profile, publicly-traded company like Trump Media sends a strong signal about mainstream acceptance of Bitcoin as a treasury reserve asset.

It also helps that there’s a crypto-wide boom happening. The total crypto market recently surged past $4T.

Finder.com experts forecast Bitcoin to reach $145,167 by the end of 2025. Some of the most bullish panelists, like Morpher CEO Martin Froehler, expect BTC to close 2025 at $250K.

If whales continue hoarding, July’s Bitcoin (and crypto as a whole) breakout could validate the most bullish predictions. 💪
