✍️ Editor’s note:
Markets woke up with caffeine and FOMO today. Bitcoin pushed above $121K–$122K while Ethereum ripped past the mid-$4K range.
This isn’t just good news for your portfolio. It’s a signal of renewed confidence in the crypto space.
What are prediction markets saying about this crypto surge, though? Let’s find out. 💰
— The Daily Prediction Team
🚀 What Price Will Bitcoin Hit in 2025?
To. The. Moon.
Bitcoin surpassed $122,000 today, which is near its July 2025 all-time high. This surge is fueled by strong spot ETF inflows and treasury-level purchases.
This momentum has prediction markets at a high, too. On Polymarket, the options for BTC’s 2025 high are all green. 🟢
Kalshi traders are giving BTC the green light, too. You can place your predictions on when Bitcoin will reach $150,000.
For a shorter-term market, you can check this Manifold prediction. Are you confident that Bitcoin will surpass $130,000 this August?
🔎 Current Bitcoin Snapshot
As of writing, BTC is trading around $119,508.
Bitcoin’s stability above $114.5k earlier in the month reflected renewed flows into crypto investment products. Experts predicted a breakout, then.
Now, it’s happening.
Political tailwinds have something to do with this. President Donald Trump has signed an executive order that could allow workers to invest in crypto through their 401(k) retirement plans, a move seen as a major catalyst for broader adoption.
Then there’s the institutional accumulation. MicroStrategy, a major corporate holder of Bitcoin, has added another 155 BTC to its treasury, bringing its total holdings to over 628,000 BTC.
Bitcoin's market cap has contributed to the total crypto market cap surging to over $4 trillion. Some analysts also suggest that the upcoming U.S. CPI report could be the final catalyst needed for a new all-time high.
Forecasts from Trading News and CoinDCX offer Bitcoin upsides of up to $150,000 in August 2025.
How soon will Bitcoin outperform our expectations again?
🚀 How High Will Ethereum Get This Year?
It’s not just Bitcoin that’s riding the wave.
Ethereum is also blazing a trail right now. 🛣️
ETH blasted through $4,300 today, its highest since late 2021. What’s even more interesting is that analysts believe this is just the beginning of a larger rally.
So, it’s not a surprise that prediction markets are going bullish on Ethereum’s potential. On Kalshi, ETH getting past $4,500 and $4,750 is almost a sure thing now.
Polymarket traders are also coloring the walls green on ETH’s price potential this August.
🔎 Current Ethereum Snapshot
As of writing, Ethereum is trading around $4,236.55.
Ethereum ETFs, now one year into trading, have accumulated an impressive $8.7 billion in inflows.
Further bolstering this, SharpLink Gaming has announced a $400 million direct offering with institutional investors, a move expected to push its ETH holdings past $3 billion.
Wall Street is very, very optimistic about Ethereum’s potential. A technical breakout above ~$4.1k might embolden institutions into further accumulation. Cas Abbe forecasts a potential run to $7,000 this year.
This recent ETH breakout has analysts looking into historical patterns as well. Based on historical precedents, similar breakouts have led to prolonged rallies, placing a new target of $8,000 for ETH in the coming months.
Ultra-bullish analysts also chart paths for ETH to reach $15,000 to $25,000, citing macro adoption and DeFi stacking. We know that it’s a very optimistic prediction, but woah.
Are you buying into this Ethereum rally as well? How long will it last this time? 👀
