📱 What Countries Will Get Starlink Access This Year?
According to Kazinform, Starlink satellite internet has officially launched in Kazakhstan, with live access available from August 13. Astana Times confirms the rollout across major urban and rural zones, citing the Ministry’s statement that pre-registration and setup kits are now available.
Operated by SpaceX, Starlink has been providing internet coverage to even the most remote areas of the globe.

🔮 What Are Starlink’s Plans Moving Forward?
There’s been chatter all year, but there’s still no S-1 on file and no official announcement. SpaceX CEO Elon Musk has historically said Starlink wouldn’t list until its cash flows and revenue were “predictable,” and coverage this year still frames the IPO as “not imminent.”
That said, reports peg Starlink at 6 million users and $2.7B in 2024 revenue, highlighting rapid growth. However, it’s still a subset of SpaceX’s overall P&L.
SpaceX, the parent company, reached a valuation of approximately $400 billion in a July 2025 share sale. Starlink is a significant driver of this valuation, with some estimates suggesting it makes up the bulk of SpaceX's revenue.
Quilty Space and other analysts have projected Starlink's revenue to reach around $11.8 billion in 2025. While the company has achieved profitability, high operating costs and a focus on expansion mean that cash flow is not yet as stable as Musk desires for a public offering.
Analysts at The Motley Fool and other financial outlets believe a public offering is more likely to occur after 2025, potentially in 2027 or 2028. This would give the company more time to solidify its financial position, scale its operations, and weather competition from rivals like Amazon's Project Kuiper.
